Abbeyleix Golf Club has over 130 years of history — but its website wasn't telling that story. The old site had grown dated, was awkward to use on phones, and made the club's most important actions, like booking a tee time or finding open competitions, harder than they needed to be.
The club needed a site that looked as good as the course, worked for the members who use it every week, and made visitors feel welcome before they'd ever set foot in Rathmoyle.
The redesign started from what people actually come to the site to do: book tee times, check competitions and schedules, and get in touch. Those actions now lead the design — a prominent "Book Tee Times" call to action, a clear schedule, and membership information that's easy to find.
The website became the anchor for a wider, consistent brand presence. Poster series for club events, a summer camp print campaign, and a social media template system all share the same visual language — so whether someone sees the club on a fence poster, an Instagram story, or the homepage, it reads as one brand.

Print and digital aren't separate worlds here. QR codes on physical signage carry UTM-tagged links into Google Analytics, so the club can see exactly how much traffic the real-world materials drive — a simple, honest way to know what's working.
A website the club is proud to point people to, a booking journey that takes seconds on a phone, and a brand that shows up consistently everywhere members and visitors meet it. See it live at abbeyleixgolfclub.ie.
